You step through a door behind the bar counter and walk up the stairs before opening another door. Though the room beyond has the same vibes as the rest of the establishment, it feels cozier in here with all the plants and sculptures dotted around the room. Sitting at a desk on the other side of the room, you find a jellyfish. They wave you over toward a seat positioned in front of the desk.
"Hi, welcome to The Whalefall! I'm Flicker, and I run this place. How have you been enjoying your visit so far?"
Flicker is a firework jellyfish who loves to make art. She's 19 years old and has been making art for as long as she can remember, and she's been playing Splatoon since 2020. She got into web design and the indie web around the start of 2026. She doesn't remember when she first found out about the vaporwave aesthetic, but she's loved it since she first saw it.
